MRFC 2 Mar Y Plata 2

MRFC came out today with the intention on beating Mar y Plata who beat them soundly 3-0 in the regular season.  MRFC were trying their best to cotrol the game beat played to much long ball. Carlos and Dre started checking to the ball and we started creating some.  Before the 1st half whistle  Mar y Plata played a long ball and their striker went behind our defense to score.  MRFC shook it off and scored off a corner kick 10minutes in the 2nd half.  Jule Lawrence crossed it to an oncoming Seamus Hunt who headed it in for the tie.  It was very hot and humid and it showed in MRFC finishing as Juele had 2 breakaways and missed and Carlos had a golden chance but could not finish.  Carlos' missed created a 45 yard free kick which Garfield caught the keeper out of the net a buried it.  Amazing!  With 1 minutes left MRFC failed to mark on a corner and mar y Plata punished us for it with the equilizer.  Horrible!  We did get 2 away goals so hopefully we can pull it out next week.
