1st round

1-0 win vs Transito of VISL league.  Steven De Roux scored a great goal to put MRFC through.  Carlos found Steven streaking through the center and just led him.  Steven did the rest.  MRFC should have finished the game 3 nil however missed a couple of chances to put the game out of reach.  Still the goal was good enough to go through.

2nd round

2-1 vs Santa Ana MISL league.  Santa Ana placed 2nd in the MISL league which is one the deepest leagues in the area.  MRFC had trouble with their pace and the smaller picth but it didnt matter as Steven found Carlos 22yrds out with a simple touch to him Carlos Side footed the ball upper ninety passed a helpless keeper.  Santa Ana stormed backed and put severe pressure and got through on a through ball.  Keeper came out in no mas land and their striker simply lofted it over Erick for 1-1.  Ever got a red card for talking too much and then Luis got one for the same thing.  With 9 men MRFC had a freekick from 30 yrds out.  Carlos stepped up and blasted it over the wall and kissed the post to bury the ball and net the match winner.

Quarterfinals

3-5 Sal Y Mar MISL league.  MRFC had this game won within the first 10 minutes but blew its chance.  Seamus found Carlos on a long ball which Carlos chested to an on running Abdoul who gave a magical pass to a WIDE OPEN Larry 2 yards from goal.  Larry somehow hit the ball over the bar??????????.  0-0 at the half with MRFC controlling this fixture.  Within 20 minutes MRFC are down 3-0????????  Too many missed chances as winje and Richard missed duck headers inside the 6 yard box.  Carlos took a free kick and found LArry who put the ball in with class.  within 5 minutes Larry found Carlos at the top of the box who calmly ripped a scorcher past the keeper who was dumbfounded.  Sal Y Mar got 2 back.  Richard ended the game with an open netter.
